I'll have to make a stocking for Clay for this Christmas !! Whoops .... I got side tracked .... Back to stitching ....

Asta made this gorgeous felted little basket ... Very cute ! 

And here she is peeking out from behind this wonderful quilt she has made for someone very special ! 

Chris has been working on this special cross stitch and finally put the finishing stitch in on Tuesday night !  

And here are some of the ladies who made morning tea this morning .... What a beautiful display ... Shame I'm on a diet though !!

Finally stitching !!

I'm happy to say I have spent an hour at my machine this afternoon after having done no stitching for almost a month !!  It feels good to be back in the chair after s back issue and way too many days and nights of lying flat on the floor !!  It was great to get back to Needlework on Wednesdsy morning too !! 

Sally has done a great job of her canvas work !!   This is the front ....

And the back .... It looks wonderful Sally !! 

I had a visit south to the doctors too and managed to fit in a quick trip to Stephs in Moruya .... Such a gorgeous shop !!

There were a few little bits and pieces I needed to bring home with me .... Not the least of which was my machine which Steph had kindly fixed for me !! 

And she is now purring like a dream .... Thanks Steph and Cheryl !! 

So many lovely tempting fabrics and patterns ....  I just needed to bring this one home for a little boy ...  Or maybe 2 little boys ...

It's always lovely to catch up with Steph .... do visit if you are down on the south coast .... she can now tempt you with her fantastic little coffee spot too !! 

And what have I been putting together this afternoon ??   This handy little stitching bag which we will be doing this week or next week at Needlework ! 

 

Bits and Pieces

I had to have an MRI scan on my back on Monday .... On the way back we had coffee in a cute little cafe with these gorgeous crochet stool covers ..... 

What a great idea .... And about as close to anything crafty I have done in the past 2 weeks !! 

I love my Mothers Day flowers from the children ....

And this gorgeous boy loves his second teddy made by one of my needlework ladies .... Thank you so much Joyce !! 

And with his new little brother !! 

Needlework Cruise finishes

I have received some lovely notes and pictures of finished projects from some of my stitching students from the Needlework Cruise ....  

Jenny has finished her two class projects as well as the scissor poke pattern I sent after returning home. This was a great colour way Jenny!! Well done!! 

And Cheryl has also finished hers which are also worked in great colours ... Such a great effort by all the ladies !! 

And it has been great to receive your very kind feedback following the Needlework Cruise !!    Alas there is no stitching happening here at the moment .... A back injury is making me lie flat or stand up .... Such a nuisance !!
